When elite Chinese sports car manufacturer Apex designed their new zero emission hyper car, the AP-0, they wanted an interior that would be a clear statement of intent. Under the overall design direction of Guy Colborne, the vehicle interior needed to deliver a driver-focussed, uncompromising and race-oriented package whilst also meeting the requirement that every Apex car should be a work of art.



With our client against a very demanding schedule, Forge Design supported Guy to deliver an uncluttered, driver-focused layout for better control and to give every racing advantage, in record time. Form and colour were used to emphasise simplicity and performance, while exhibiting the car’s extremely lightweight structure and remaining aesthetically unique.
